Implement. <br />Next, Pat Pelstring asked the Council to focus on issues, both <br />internal and external, which they felt needed to be addressed. <br />The issues developed by the Council are as follows: <br />l. Appropriate utilization of school facilities; <br />2. Acquisition of park land/recreational land; <br />3. High quality development in I-P District; <br />n. Environmental concerns, i.e., fill in Ryan Ind.ustrial <br />Park; <br />5. Lower taxes; <br />6. Upgrade retail/diversity; <br />7. Freeway accessability; <br />8. Access/safety issues, area west of freeway and west <br />of Country Drive; <br />9. Increase hospitality (restaurant and hotel); <br />10. Centerville Road development; <br />11. Commercial redevelopment. <br />Pelstring then asked each Councilmember to chose two of the above <br />which they considered top priorities. The result of this is as <br />follows: <br />2. Acquisition of park land/recreational land - chosen by <br />3 Councilmembers; <br />3, High qualit,y development in I-P District - chosen by <br />5 Councilmembers; <br />10.
