MI~lUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, P9INNESOTA <br />July 22, 1987 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the <br />Council of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the <br />22nd day of July, 1987 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Agenda Mayor Michael Fahey chaired the meeting and called it to order at <br />Item No. 1 7:30 P.M. and the following members of the Council were present <br />at roll call: <br />Agenda P9EMBERS PRESENT: Playor Mr. Michael Fahey <br />Item No. 2 Councilman Mr. William Blesener <br />Councilman Mr. Rick Collova <br />Councilman Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Councilwoman Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Clerk Mr. Joseph Chlebeck <br />Consulting Engineer Mr. Donald Carley <br />City Attorney Mr. Thomas Sweeney <br />City Planner Mr. Steve Grittman <br />Recording Secretary Mrs. Kathleen Glanzer <br />Minutes Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Agenda RESOLUTION N0. 87-7-320 - APPROVING THE <br />Item No. 3 MINUTES OF THE JULY 8, 1987 REGULAR COUNCIL <br />MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Collova. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Collova, Fahey, Scalze, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 345. <br />P~idwest Mr. Steve Feig appeared before the Council requesting a conditional <br />Mopar use permit for auto parts sales as part of his business, Midwest <br />Sales & Mopar Sales & Service, which he would like to locate at 3175 Ryan <br />Service ~ane. <br />Agenda Fahey pointed out that the Planner has recommended approval based <br />Item No. 5 on compliance with the recommendations contained in his July 6, <br />1987 report. The Planning Commission has also recommended approval <br />based on compliance with the Planner's recommendations. <br />Mr. Feig asked if the business license and conditional use permit were <br />separate issues which could be considered independently. <br />The Planner pointed out that if only auto service is part of the <br />business, and not auto parts sales, only a general business license <br />is required, which does not need Council action. <br />Page -1- <br />
