MINUTES <br />City Council <br />July 22, 1987 <br />Personnel Fahey reported that it should be noted in the record that with <br />Ordinance regard to non-exempt employees the time that is banked as compensatory <br />(Cont.) time is banked at time and one-half. However, when the bank is paid <br />off, it is paid at straight time, or the actual number of hours in the <br />bank. <br />Day Care The City Attorney reported that he will have a report on day care <br />at a future Council meeting. <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 20 <br />R& S Auto The Planner reported that R E S Auto is considering expanding their <br />facility, and the Planner noted that there is still a moratorium in <br />Agenda effect in this area. The Planner passed this information along for <br />Item No. 21 Council consideration. <br />Outdoor The City has received an application from Dick and Mary's for an <br />Barbecue outdoor barbecue and liquor sales permit for Saturday, August l, <br />& Liquor 1987 from 11 A.M. to 6 P.M. <br />Sales <br />Dick & Mary's Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Agenda RESOLUTION ~10. ~?-7-338 - APPROVING A~I <br />Item No. 22a OUTDOOR QARBECUE AND LIQUOR SALES PERMIT <br />FOR DICK AND MARY'S PROVIDED THAT THE <br />OCCUPANCY OF THE EVENT IS LIMITED TO 100 <br />PEOPLE AND ACCESS IS PROVIDED FOR EMERGENCY <br />VEHICLES <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Blesener, Scalze, LaValle, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 365. <br />Booster Mr. Blesener reported that Public Works would like approval for the <br />Station purchase and installation of equipment at the booster station~vhich <br />would regulate pumping water into the water tower only between the <br />Agenda hours of 9 P.M. and 9 A.M. This will result in a 38% decrease in <br />Addition the City's electrical rate at the booster station. The equipment <br />can be purchased from Connelly Industrial Electronics at a cost <br />of $1,461.46. Blesener pointed out that the electric bill for the <br />booster station for the month of June was $2,000. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Page -23- <br />
