MINUTES <br />City Council <br />July 22, 1987 <br />St. John's Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Credit <br />Union (Cont.) RESOLUTION N0. 87-7-323 - CLOSING THE PUBLIC <br />HEARING ON THE ST. JOHN'S CREDIT U~IION REQUEST <br />FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS AND VARIANCE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, LaValle, Collova, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 349. <br />Fahey felt that the cost of drawing up an easement should be borne <br />by the Credit Union. <br />LaValle pointed out that the easement would apply to the three <br />adjacent properties, and not just the credit union. <br />Fahey suggested that the request be approved contingent to the <br />open questions regarding the easement and its cost being resolved. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-7-324 - APPROVING THE <br />REQUEST OF ST. JOHN S CREDIT UNION FOR <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS TO ALLOW OFFICE USE <br />IN AN RB ZONE, FOR MIXED RESIDENTIAL AND <br />COMMERCIAL USE, AND FOR OFF-SITE PARKING <br />AS I~ELL AS A VARIANCE FROM THE PERFORMANCE <br />STANDARDS SUBJECT TO THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF <br />THE PLANNER AS CONTAINED IN HIS REPORT <br />DATED JULY 22, 1987 AND SUBJECT TO FURTHER <br />STUDY OF THE EASEMENT QUESTIOM FOR ACCESS <br />AND PARKING WITH THE STIPULATION THAT IF AN <br />EASEMENT IS REQUIRED, TNE COST SHOULD BE <br />BORNE BY THE APPLICANT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Scalze, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Thunder Mr. Bob Voto, City Auditor, reported that he has reviewed the Thunder <br />Bay TIF Bay Tax Increment Financing Plan. Voto reported that the City has <br /> drawn up separate tax increment districts within the City and it is <br />Agenda his recommendation that the City create one tax increment district <br />Item No. 7 that will include all the areas identified.
