IMPROVEMENT OF DEMONT AVENUE FROM RICE STREET <br />TO 35E (RICE TO JACKSON) BY STREET, CURB AND <br />GUTTER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Collova. <br />Ayes (4) Fahey, Collova, Blesener, Scalze. <br />~ays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book Mo. 18, Page 416. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-8-391 - APPROVING AND <br />ADOPTING THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR IMPROVEP4ENT <br />No. 86-7A AS AP9ENDED, DEMO~lT AVE~lUE FROM <br />RICE STREET TO 35E (RICE TO JACKSON) BY <br />STREET, CURB AND GUTTER <br />COUNTY N0. 5783 <br />INTEREST RATE - 9% PER ANNUM <br />INSTALLP1ENT - EIGHT YEARS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Collova. <br />Ayes (4) Fahey, Collova, Scalze, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 417. <br />Mr. John Hall, 47 Demont, reported that his property has already <br />been assessed on Stark Street. Hall also reported that he was not <br />in favor of curb and gutter. Hall also was concerned with the <br />amount of assessments the single family homes had to pay while <br />the traffic on the street is being generated from the multiple- <br />family development. <br />Fahey reported that the Council will consider the assessments <br />to the multiple-family dwellings in two weeks. <br />Karen Peterson, 65 Demont, asked if the telephone pole adjacent to <br />her property would be moved. Peterson also outlined a potential <br />visibility problem when the street is widened with the fence <br />to the west of her property. <br />Blesener suggested that the Building Inspector look at this to <br />Pa,qe -16- <br />
