MINUTES <br />City Council <br />August 26, 1987 <br />Judd Water The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by P9r. Blesener. <br />Connection Ayes (4) Fahey, Blesener, Collova, Scalze. <br />(Cont.) Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 433. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOlUTION N0. 87-8-408 - APPROVING A~1D <br />ADOPTING THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR SUPPLEMENTARY <br />ASSESSP~ENT 41TR IMP. P~O. 70-1 $ 2 AS AMENDED <br />AUD 0974 - D/P 0041 <br />PARCEL 06-29-22-34-0080 <br />AMOUNT - $360.00 <br />INTEREST - 8% <br />TERP4 - 5 YEARS <br />The foreging resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Blesener. <br />Ayes (4) Fahey, Blesener, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 434. <br />Assessment Fahey opened the assessment hearing to consider a supplementary <br />Hearing assessment for the Norm Dupre property for a silting fence. <br />Dupre <br />Silting Fahey asked if anyone from the general public wished to be heard <br />Fence on this matter. <br />t~genda Norm Dupre appeared before the Council objecting to the assessment. <br />Item No. 18 Dupre outlined the past correspondence he received from the City <br />requesting that he install a silting fence. Dupre also reported <br />that with the mild winter and dry spring, he believed a silting <br />fence was not necessary and, therefore, never installed one. <br />Dupre then reported that the fence that the City had installed on <br />his property was not a silting fence, but a rabbit fence. Dupre <br />submitted pictures to the Council of what a silting fence was and <br />also pictures of the fence that was installed on his property. <br />Dupre then disputed the contention that his property is eroding <br />onto the Costa property. Dupre reported that his property consists <br />of black dirt and it is not black dirt that is in the Costa <br />driveway, but rather sand. Dupre stated that the Costa driveway <br />is breaking up and it is the sand that was used as a base for the <br />driveway that is coming up from under the driveway. <br />Dupre outlined the times in the past when the City requested him <br />Page -24- <br />
