MI~IUTES
City Council
August 26, 1987
Dupre to clean up the Costa property, which he did. Dupre also reported
Silting that he sprayed weeds on the property when requested. However,
Fence Dupre reported that he does not have sand on his property and his
(Cont.) property is not eroding onto the Costa property. Dupre also
stated that he will not pay $500 for a fence which is not a silting
fence, but rather a rabbit fence.
Scalze commented that the problem may have occurred because Mr.
Dupre filled up to his property line.
Fahey outlined letters that were sent to Dupre requesting that he
put up a silting fence as well as cut down weeds on his property.
Fahey suggested that the Engineer look at the property and determine
if it is eroding onto the Costa property.
Fahey asked who was handling this matter.
The City Clerk reported that he received complaints from Mrs. Costa,
which he referred to the Building Inspector. It was the Weed
Inspector who ordered the weeds cut on the Dupre property as well
as ordered the silting fence.
Fahey suggested that the Engineer review the situation and report
to the Council in two weeks. Fahey also asked if the bill included
cutting of weeds on the Dupre property in addition to the fence.
The City Clerk replied that he would check with Tom Horwath.
Dupre stated that the bill was only for the fence.
Fahey reported that the Council will review the Engineer's report,
and contact Mr. Dupre when a determination is made.
Assessment Fahey opened the assessment hearing to consider termination of a
Hearing deferred senior citizen assessment for the Louis LaCasse property.
Termination
Of Deferred There was no one present wishing to comment on this matter.
Sr. Citizen
Assessment Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
LaCasse
RESOLUTION N0. 87-8-409 - CLOSING THE
Agenda ASSESSMENT HEARING TO CONSIDER TERMINATION
Item No. 19 OF DEfERRED SENIOR CITIZEN ASSESSMENT FOR
LOUIS LaCASSE
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by P1r. Fahey.
Ayes (4) Scalze, Fahey, Blesener, Collova.
Nays (0).
Resolution declared adopted.
This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 18, Page ~t35.
Page -25-
