MINUTES City Council August 26, 1987 Cedar Brutger Companies plans to construct a single-family home on the Lakeside newly created lot and then plans to sell both single-family homes. PUD Amendment Fahey asked if Kath had a problem with the requirement for a shared (Cont.) driveway for the homes. Kath replied that there would be a problem with common snow removal and maintenance of the driveway. Kath reported that Brutger Companies would prefer separate driveways for the homes. Scalze agreed with the Planning Commission's recommendation that the requirement of a shared driveway be eliminated. Scalze noted the large number of driveways on Little Canada Road presently and did not feel an additional driveway would make any difference. Fahey pointed out that the property is zoned PUD and asked if an additional single-family house would be inconsistent with the future development of the area. The Planner replied that this was his initial concern, but after reviewing the site and noting the existing single-family homes in the area that are likely to remain for quite a few years, felt that the property would either remain vacant or develop as single-family. Fahey asked if there was anyone from the general public present wishing to comment on this proposal. There was not. Mr. Collova introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 37-8-377 - CLOSING THE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE SHERMAN OAKS PUD AMENDMENT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by P~1r. Blesener. Ayes (4) Collova, Blesener, Scalze, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 403. Collova asked if drainage easements were necessary on the new property lines. The Fngineer replied that drainage easements are not needed in this instance. P1r.
