MINUTES <br />City Council <br />Sept. 9, 1987 <br />Outdoor Mr. Tom Durray, owner of Hoggsbreath, appeared before the Council <br />ermit for an outdoor wrestling exhibition <br />l of a <br />Beer requesti <br />well p <br />ng approva <br />as outdoor beer permit for Saturday, September 26, or <br />Permit <br />Hoggsbreath as <br />Sunday, September 27, depending <br />' on the weather. The event is being <br /> held to s <br />celebrate Hoggsbreath 10-year anniversary. <br />Agenda <br />Addition Fahey expressed concern about the number of Sheriff's calls to <br />the Hoggsbreath over the last few months. <br />Durray pointed out that there are approximately 4,000 customers at <br />Hoggsbreath during an average week, and felt that there was bound to be <br />a certain amount of complaints with that number of people. <br />Durray reported that the event is being planned as a family event <br />and reported that people will be encouraged to bring their children. <br />The event will run from 1 P.M. until 6 P.M. <br />Durray also reported that about 4 years ago Noggsbreath had a similar <br />outdoor event with no problems. <br />Durray reported that Hoggsbreath is experienced in dealing with <br />large numbers of people and plans to have 15 to 20 security personnel <br />on the premises. Beer, pop and food will be served. <br />LaValle asked the number of people anticipated at the event. <br />Durray replied that tickets will be sold and they will not exceed <br />500 people. Also, there will be assigned seating. <br />Durray also reported that he is planning to make a donation to <br />the Little Canada Recreation Association or Recreation Department <br />to be used for youth recreational programs. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-9-425 - APPROVING A PERMIT <br />FOR AN OUTDOOR WRESTLING EXHIBITION AND <br />OUTDOOR BEER PERP9IT FOR THE HOGGSBREATH fOR <br />SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 1987 FROM 1 P.M. UNTIL <br />6 P.P1., OR SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 1987 FROM <br />1 P.M. UNTIL 6 P.M., DEPENDING ON THE WEATHER, <br />WITH TNE CONDITION THAT THE NECESSARY SECURITY <br />PERSONNEL WILL BE PROVIDED AS OUTLINED I~1 MR. <br />DURRAY'S LETTER REQUESTING TNESE PERMITS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Scalze, Collova, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). > <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 450. <br />Page -9- <br />
