MINUTES <br />City Council <br />Oct. 7, 1987 <br />Park The for~egoing r•esolution was duly seconded by Mr•s. Scalze. <br />Acquisition Ayes (5) Blesener•, Scalze, Collova, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Fund (Cont.) Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This r~esolution appears in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 503. <br />Gener~al fund Fahey r~epor•ted that the City Auditor• is r•ecommending a Gener•al Fund <br />Reser•ves and/or• Reser•ve and/or• Designations be established to pr•ovide an adequate <br />Designations level of fund balance to pr•ovide for~ cash flow requir•ements, <br />contingent employee benefitssuch as compensated absences and <br />accr•ued sick leave, and gener~al contingencies and emer~gencies. <br />Mr•. Blesener intr•oduced the following r•esolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-10-477 - ESTABLISHING GENERAL <br />FUND RESERVES AND/OR DESIGNATIONS <br />The for•egoing r•esolution was duly seconded by ~4r•s. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Collova, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays (O). <br />Resolution declar•ed adopted. <br />This r•esolution appear•s in Resolution Book No. 18, Pages 504 and 505. <br />NSP Mr•. Blesener~ r•epor•ted that the City has an agr•eement not to use <br />Electr•ical electr~ical power• at its booster station between the hour•s of 9 A.M. <br />Service and 9 P.M., and in return the City receives a reduced electrical <br />Agreement rate of approximately 37%. <br />Agenda B1 esener~ r~epor~ted that i f ther•e i s a pr•obl em duri ng the day that <br />Item No. 6 r•equir~es electr~ical usage at the Booster• Station, NSP has agr•eed <br />to give the City a r•eduction of 25% pr•ovided that the City will <br />agr~ee to discontinue usage upon one hour•'s notice dur•ing peak <br />power• usage times. <br />Blesener• r~ecommended that the City enter• into such an agr~eement <br />with NSP. <br />P1r•. Bl esener• i ntr•oduced the fol l owi ng r~esol uti on and moved i ts adopti on: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-10-478 - APPROVING THE <br />ELECTRICAL SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH NSP AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE CTTY CLERK OR PUBLIC WORKS <br />SUPERINTENDENT TO SIGN THE AGREEMENT ON <br />BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing r•esolution was duly seconded by Mr•s.
