MINUTES <br />City Council <br />Oct. 7, 1987 <br />Fur~nace Blesener pointed out that the City currently has an electr~ical fur•nace <br />For• Booster• in its booster• station, and r•ecommended that a gas fur~nace be installed. <br />Station <br />The Public Wor•ks Super•intendent has obtained two bids for~ installation <br />Agenda of a gas fur~nace. They ar~e fr~om Kath Br•os. in the amount of $1,038 <br />Addition and Kr~inke Electr•ic in the amount of $1,770. <br />Blesener recommended that the low bid be awarded. <br />Mr~. Blesener intr•oduced the following r~esolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-10-479 - APPROVING THE <br />LOW BID OF KATH BROS. IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$1,038 FOR INSTALLATIO~! OF A GAS FURNACE <br />IN THE CITY'S BOOSTER STATION <br />The foregoing r~esolution was duly seconded by Mr. Collova. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener~, Collova, Scalze, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declar•ed adopted. <br />This r~esolution appear~s in Resolution Book ~lo. 18, Page 507. <br />Sale Of Blesener~ r•epor•ted that the installation of the new County Road B-2 <br />B-2 Lift lift station is complete, and Public Wor~ks would like author•ization <br />Station to sell the parts fr•om the old lift station. <br />Par•ts <br />Mr•. Collova. <br />Ayes (5) blesener, Collova, Scalze, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Plays (0). <br />Resolution declar•ed adopted. <br />This resolution appear•s in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 508. <br />Blesener reported that there will be landscaping done around the <br />lift station with some of the gr•avel r•emoved and the ar•ea sodded. <br />Plantings will also be installed for~ scr~eening. <br />Blesener• r•eported that the Pub1ic Wor•ks Super~intendent will be <br />infor•ming the neighbor•s of the City's landscaping plans. <br />Page -9- <br />
