MINUTES <br />City Council <br />October 28, 1987 <br />Panino's Commission has r•ecommended denial as the applicant did not appear~ wi11in9 <br />Restaur•ant to comply with the Planner•'s r~ecommendations. <br />CUP (Cont.) <br />Ther•e was no one pr•esent r•epr~esenting the conditional use per~mit r•equest. <br />Fahey suggested that the Council could appr•ove the r•equest contingent <br />upon compliance with the r•ecommendations of the Planner~. <br />Ther~e was no one pr•esent wishing to comment on the CUP r~equest. <br />P4r•. Fahey intr•oduced the following r•esolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION M0. 87-10-519 - CLOSING THE PUBLIC <br />IIEARING ON THE REQUEST FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />MADE BY STEVE SERTICH TO OPERATE PANINO'S <br />RESTAURANT AT 71 MINNESOTA AVENUE <br />The for~egoing r•esolution was duly seconded by P~r•. Collova. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Collova, Scalze, LaValle, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declar•ed adopted. <br />This r~esolution appear•s in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 549. <br />Blesener• repor~ted that he has discussed the CUP r•equest with the <br />Public Wor•ks Super•intendent who has indicated that ther•e ar•e <br />dr•ainage pr•oblems in the ar•ea due to missing cur•bing on the pr~oper•ty. <br />Blesener• also asked for• mor•e information on the r•emodeling that is <br />planned in the building to accommodate the r•estaur•ant. <br />The City Planner~ explained the pr•oposed r•emodeling which includes the <br />addition of an entr•ance for• the r~estaur~ant as well as a sidewalk <br />between the par~king lot and building. <br />Scalze questioned the adequacy of the par~king. <br />The Planner~ r~eplied that U.S. Swim & Fitness is expanding the par~king <br />ar•ea. <br />Mr~.
