MINUTES <br />City Council <br />October• 28, 1987 <br />Handicap Fahey opened the public hear~ing on the r~equest that the City call <br />Str•uctur~e for• bids for~ the impr•ovement of a handicapped chair• lift in the LeClair•e <br />LeClair~e Rental Hall, with the cost of the impr~ovement being assessed back <br />Hall against the benefited proper•ty. <br />Agenda Ther~e was no one present wishing to comment on this matter~. <br />Item No. 12 <br />Mr•. Fahey intr•oduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-10-521 - CLOSING THE <br />PUBLIC NEARING TO CO~ISIDER CALLING FOR BIDS <br />FOR INSTALLATION OF A HANDICAPPED STRUCTURE <br />AT 433 LITTLE CA~IADA ROAD <br />The for•egoing r•esolution was duly seconded by Mr•. Blesener•. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Blesener, Collova, LaValle, Scalze. <br />Nays (O1. <br />Resolution declar~ed adopted. <br />This r~esolution appear~s in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 551. <br />The City Clerk r~epor•ted that the City has r•eceived some infor•mal bids <br />on the impr•ovement, however•, as the impr•ovement is over• $10,000, it is <br />necessary that formal bids be taken. The City Clerk reported that the <br />proper•ty owner• has petitioned the City to put in the pr•oject, and the <br />cost of the pr•oject will be assessed against the benefited proper~ty. <br />Mr~.
