MINUTES City Council October• 28, 1987 Demont Scalze r•equested that the Engineer• check with the County on str~iping Pr•oject Demont with a bike path. (Cont.) The Engineer~ r•epor•ted that this has been done on a State-Aid Road in Shor•eview. The Mayor~ r•equested that between now and the completion of the Demont blacktopping, the City Engineer• explor~e the feasibility of str•iping Demont for~ a bike path. County Blesener r~epor•ted that he r~eceived a call fr•om a r•esident adjacent to Road B-2 the County Road B-2 lift station who was concer~ned about the appear~ance of the ar~ea surr•oundi ng the 1 i ft stati on. Bl esener• r•epor•ted that he Agenda explained the City's plans for• scr•eening and sodding of the ar•ea, after• Addition the gr•ound has been allowed to settle. Blesener~ also r•epor•ted that the r•esident infor•med him that the gr•ound near• his dr•iveway is satur~ated with water• which is in tune with what Mr•. Eng r~epor~ted at a pr•evious Council meeting. Scalze noted that the level of Ger•vais is low, and felt that ther~e is something in the dr~ainage system which is not wor~king and not allowing r•un-off into the lake. The Council reviewed the letter received from Fr~ank Winiecki regarding Pipeline the pumping by Williams ar~os. Pipeline into the City's sanitar•y sewer~ system. Agenda Addition Fahey suggested that the City Cler•k infor~m Mr•. Winiecki of r•ecent action and discussion it had with Williams Br~os. Pipeline on this matter•. It was also pointed out that Mr•. Winiecki has r•equested that the City hir•e an independent testing company to test the wells in the ar•ea.
