MINUTES City Council Nov. 25, 1987 Ol d County Mr•. Bl esener• r~epor•ted that the Ci ty has obtai ned one bi d for~ pur•chase Road B-2 of par~ts fr~om the old lift station on County Road B-2. That bid was Lift Station r•eceived fr~om Gener•al Repair• Ser•vice in the amount of $300.00. Blesener~ Parts r•ecommended that the bid be awar~ded. Agenda The City Cler•k r•epor•ted that the City could accept the $300, which would Item No. 14b then be placed in the Debt Ser•vice Fund. Other•wise, the $300 could be taken as a cr•edit against futur•e pur~chases made by the City fr•om Gener~al Repair• Ser~vice. The City Cler~k r~ecommended that the $300 be taken as a cr~edi t. Mr•. Blesener• intr~oduced the following r•esolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 87-11-557 - ACCEPTING THE BID OF GENERAL REPAIR SERVICE IP1 TNE AMOUNT OF $300 FOR PURCHASE OF PARTS FROM THE OLD COUNTY ROAD B-2 LIFT STATION, THE $300 TO BE USED AS A CREDIT AGAINST FUTURE PURCHASES WITH GENERAL REPAIR SERVICE The for•egoing r•esolution was duly seconded by Mr~. Collova. Ayes (5) Blesener, Collova, Fahey, Scalze, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declar~ed adopted. This r•esolution appear•s in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 609. Meeting Scalze r•epor~ted that she and Jim Mor•elan would be meeting together• Of Nor~th with those members of the Recr•eation Association on the Boar~d of the Subur~ban Nor•th Subur•ban Youth Hockey Association with that Association. The Youth meeting will be held Wednesday, December• 2 at 6:30 P.M. and Scalze Hockey invited any interested member•s of the Council to attend. The matter• Association to be discussed will the Association's bingo oper~ation in the City. f~genda Addition Scalze r~epor•ted that the Par•k Commission r•ecently met with r•epr•esentatives Wor•kshop of Deci si on Resour~ces r•egar~di ng the Ci ty s upcomi ng par~k sur•vey. The Meeti ng meeting was used to for•mulate questions to be included in the sur•vey. With 8~~1 Mor•r~is of Decision Resour•ces will take the Commission's input Decision ~ and put together~ a dr~aft sur•vey as well as a cost estimate and will ces Resour pr•esent these to the Commission at their• December~ 17th meeting. Agenda Scalze also r•epor~ted that var•ious City depar•tments have until December~ Addition 4th to submit any questions they would like included on the sur~vey. Scalze suggested that the Council hold a wor•kshop session with Decision Recour•ces to r~eview the sur•vey and also include any questions the Council would like to see addr•essed in the sur•vey. The Council felt the wor•kshop meeting should be held after• the Par~k 1988 Commission r•eviews the dr•aft sur•vey, and a date of Januar•y 6, was suggested. Page -12-
