MINUTES <br />City Council <br />Dec. 9, 1987 <br />DNR Flood one, and any pr•oject not submitted for• consider•ation this year• could be <br />Gr~ants (Cont. ) the next year•. <br />Fahey did not believe the other• suggested pr•ojects were as high a <br />pr•iority as the dr•ainage pr~oblem on County Road B-2, and felt this <br />should be the fir•st pr•oject submitted. <br />Scalze stated that she was interested in the Engineer~'s suggestion <br />for• an over•flow contr~ol str•uctur~e for• Savage Lake being submitted <br />some time in the futur•e. <br />The City Cler•k pointed out that the suggestion of an over~flow str~ucture <br />in County Ditch 16 would r•etain water• in Lake Savage, wher~e there is <br />additional storage capacity, and allow less water to flow into Gervais. <br />Fahey suggested that the Engineer~ contact the DNR to deter~mine which <br />pr~ojects would be acceptable under• the gr~ant pr~ogr•am with County Road B-2 <br />pr~oject to be submi tted for~ consi der•ati on thi s year•, and other•s i n <br />following year~s. <br />P1rs.
