Col l ova. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Collova, Blesener~, Fahey, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declar~ed adopted. <br />This r•esolution appear•s in Resolution Qook No. 19, Page 9. <br />Fire Dept. P9essrs. Collova, Blesener, and LaValle agreed to serve as the City's <br />Pensi on r~epr•esentati ves to the Fi r•e Depar•tment Pensi on tioar•d for~ the year~ <br />Boar~d 1988. <br />Mr~s. Scalze intr~oduced the following r•esolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION ~10. 88-1-10 - APPOINTIPIG RICK COLLOVA, <br />QILL BLESENER, AND JIM LAVALLE AS THE CITY'S <br />REPRESEPITFlTIVES ON THE FIRF_ DEPARTMENT PENSION <br />BOARD FOR THE YEAR 1988 <br />The for~egoing r~esolution was duly seconded by Mr•. Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Fahey, Blesener, Collova, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declar•ed adopted. <br />This r•esolution appear•s in Resolution Dook ~lo. 19, Page 10. <br />Nor•th The P9ayor• announced that the Subur•ban Ar•ea Chamber~ of Commer•ce will <br />Star host a night with the ~lorth Stars on March 21, 1988. Tickets are $15 <br />Night for adults and less for~ children. For~ more information, call Ken <br />F1 ug of Hi r•te Tr•ansfer• at 484-1443 or• Lou Ander•son of Pool si de at <br />Agenda 483-6600. <br />Item No. 4 <br />Vacation Fahey opened the public hear•ing on the r•equest for~ vacation of Lake <br />Of Lake Str•eet between Par~k Str~eet and Spr•uce Str•eet. This vacation was <br />Str~eet petitioned for• by Midway Bank, owner• of the major•ity of the pr•oper~ty <br />abutting this proposed street. <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 5 The D9ayor• asked if ther~e was anyone fr•om the gener•al public pr•esent <br />wishina to comment on this request. <br />The City Engineer reported that he has reviewed the request, and a <br />vacation would not landlock any pr~oper~ty, ther~efor~e, he r•ecommended <br />appr•oval of the vacation pr•ovided that the City r~etain a 20-foot dr•ainage <br />and utility easement down the center~ of this pr•oper•ty. <br />Jer•r~y Gal l agher, r•epr•esenti ng Mi dway Bank, r~epor•ted that the only 1 ot <br />the bank does not own abutting Lake Str~eet is Lot 26. However~, the <br />bank i s cur~r•ently neqoti ati ng for• the pur•chase of thi s 1 ot fr•om i ts <br />owner• and he ex ects the pur•chase to be finalized shor•tly.
