Fahey intr•oduced the following r~esolution and moved its adoption: <br />RFSOLUTION P•10. 88-1-11 - CLOSING THE PU6LIC <br />NEFlRING ON THE VACATI0~1 Of LAKF STREET FROM <br />PARK STREET TO SPRUCE STREET <br />The foregoing r~esolution ~~as duly seconded by Mr. Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, alesener, Scalze, Collova, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declar~ed adopted. <br />This r~esolution appear~s in Resolution Book No. 19, Page 11. <br />The owner• of 2573 Spr•uce Str~eet asked how the vacation and the <br />r•etention of a dr•ainage and utility easement would effect his setback. <br />Fahey pointed out that this action will lessen the r•equir~ed setback, <br />as cur•r•ently lots ar~e r~equir•ed to have a 30-foot setback fr•om <br />pr•oposed Lake Str•eet. However•, once the str•eet is vacated the <br />r•equi r~ed si deyar•d setback woul d be 10 feet. <br />Mr~. The pr~oper~t,y has now been di vi ded <br />into thr•ee lots, only one of which will be built upon, Lot 1, a=_ <br />the other• 1 ots ar•e al r•eady devel oped. <br />The Engineer• explained that as part of a pr•evious appr•oval of the <br />plat the City Council, based on the Planner•'s r•ecommendation, r•equir•ed <br />a topegr•aphical map of this pr~oper~ty. However~, the Engineer• suggested <br />that this r•equir•ement be deleted as ther•e is only one lot that will be <br />Page -6- <br />
