Fahey. <br />Ayes (4) Scalze, Fahey, Collova, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declar~ed adopted. <br />This r~esolution appear•s in Resolution Book No. 19, page 81. <br />Gar~dner~ Scalze r•epor~ted that the Par~k Commission has r•ecommended that the par~k <br />Br•os. char•ge for~ the Gar~dner~ Br~os. subdivision be cash r•ather~ than land. <br />Park <br />Char~ge Scal ze expr~essed concer•n that devel oper~s ar~e not bei ng tol d about <br />the r•equir•ement of par~k char~ges at the time they fir~st appr•oach the <br />Agenda City. <br />Addition <br />Fahey suggested that the City Cler•k develop a pr~ocedur~e to infor•m <br />developer~s of par•k char~ges and also suggested that the City Planner~ <br />refer to the requirement of park charges when preparing his report <br />on development pr~oposals. <br />Fmployee Fahey suggested that the matter• of employee health insur~ance be tabled <br />Health until Councilman LaValle can be pr•esent. Nowever•, in the meantime <br />Insur•ance Fahey suggested that Councilmember•s consider~ vahether~ the City should <br />continue to pay the full cost of employee health insur•ance, or• whether~ <br />Agenda the cost should be shar•ed. <br />Item No. 19 <br />Fahey also pointed out that the Building Inspector~ has been r~eimbur•sed <br />by the City on a monthly basis for~ his health insur~ance costs. However~, <br />the amount of the r•eimbursement is less than what the City is paying <br />for• similar~ cover•age for~ other~ employees. Fahey suggested that an <br />adjustment is in or~der•. <br />Fahey also suggested that the Council consider• whether• dental cover•age <br />should be pr•ovided, pointing out that dental has not been pr~ovided in <br />the past. <br />Fahey suggested that the City Cler•k deter•mine what the County does in <br />ter~ms of payi ng for• empl oyee heal th i nsur•ance costs and r•epor•t at the <br />next meeting. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 88-2-78 - APPROVIPIG THE <br />REIMBURSEMENT OF THE BUILDIDJG INSPECTOR IN <br />THE AP10U~1T OF $16.08 PER MONTH BEGINNING IN <br />JANUARY OF 1987 FOR HEALTH INSURANCE BENEFITS <br />QASED ON THE EQUIVALENT AMOUNT THAT THE CITY <br />IS PAYING OTHER CITY EMPLOYEES UNTIL SUCH TIME <br />AS TNE CITY CHANGES ITS HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE <br />FOR CITY EMPLOYEES <br />panP _~~_ <br />
