P9I NUTES <br />City Council <br />Mar•ch 23, 1988 <br />might be some inter•est on the par•t of the City of Roseville in the <br />facilities, however•, they could make no commitment at this point. <br />Blesener• agr•eed that the facility would have to be shar•ed, other~wise <br />the City could not affor•d it. Blesener• r•epor~ted that the Recreation <br />Director for Roseville informed him that Roseville is pursuing its <br />own facility at this time. If they can't get their~ own facility, <br />they may be inter•ested in shar~ing the Capitol View facility. <br />Mor•el an outl i ned the di ffi cul ties he has hear~d fr•om par~ents tr•yi ng to <br />r•egi ster• chi 1 dr~en i n the School Di str•i ct' s swimmi ng pr~ogr•am. Morel an <br />r•epor•ted that these difficulties ar•e outlined in an ar~ticle in the <br />Roseville Review today and a petition has been cir•culated and submitted <br />to the School Distr•ict r~egar•ding r~egistr•ation pr~actices. <br />Fahey stated that as he sees it the concensus of the Council is not <br />to consider• r•ezoning of the Capitol View pr~oper~ty with any futur•e <br />use to have to fit into the Public zoning of the pr•oper•ty. <br />Scalze felt the Council should take an official position on the matter•. <br />Fahey repor•ted that he would outline the Council's position in a letter <br />to the School Distr~ict. Fahey would also r•equest a r•esponse on the <br />Spooner~ Par•k offer• and outline the Council's feelings on the Little <br />Canada Elementar•y School addition.
