MINUTES OF THE RFGI.ILAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANA.DA, PIINNESOTA <br />April 27, 1988 <br />Pur~suant to due ca11 and notice ther•eof a r•egular~ meeting of the <br />Council of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the <br />27th day of April, 1988 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Roatl in said City. <br />Agenda Mayor~ Michael Fahey chair~ed the meeting and called it to or~der• at <br />Item ~lo. 1 7:30 P.M. and the following member~s of the Council wer•e pr•esent at <br />roll call: <br />Agenda MEMBERS PRESEPdT: Mayor P4r. Kathl een Gl anzer• <br />Announce- Mayor~ Fahey welcomed Gir•1 Scout Br•ownie Tr•oop #587 fr•om St. John's <br />ments School who wer•e in attendance at tonight's meeting. <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 4 f ahey r~epor•ted that ther•e ar•e School Qoar•d elections on May 17, 198H <br />and ur•ged citizens to become familiar• with the var•ious candidates. <br />Fahey pointed out that 50% of tax dollar~s collected ar~e spent by the <br />School Distr•ict with the County r•eceiving 25% and the City r•eceiving <br />25%. <br />Fahey r~epor•ted that due to constr~uction of the Little Canada Road <br />br•idge, Center•ville Road will be closed on Apr•il 29 for• a maximum <br />of 10 working days. After Centerville Road is reopened, the northbound <br />r•amp of 35E will be closed for~ 10 wor•king days. Following the r•eopening <br />of the nor~thbound r~amp, Countr•y Dr•ive and the north ramp south bound <br />of 35E wi 11 be cl osed for• thr~ee weeks. Once r•oads on the nor~th si de <br />of the constr•uction ar•ea ar•e r•eopened, the tr~affic will be moved <br />to the new half of the br•idge. The south half of Little Canada <br />Road will close and the south r•amps will be closed for• 10 wor•king <br />days.
