Scalze r•epor~ted that at a r•ecent Par•k <br />Commission meeting r•esidents of the Thunder Bay ar~ea wer•e ver•y <br />concer•ned about this. <br />Collova repor•ted that the Building Inspector• has been in contact <br />with the pr•oper~ty owners involved, and has letters on file stating <br />that they will adher• to City Code r•equir~ements and get their yar•ds <br />cleaned up. <br />Blesener~ pointed out the str•ong indication in the City sur~vey for• <br />r~esolving this matter•. <br />Thunder~ Bay Scalze r~eported that the Par~k Commission recently held a meeting with <br />Par~k r•esi dents of the Thunder~ Bay ar•ea to di scuss the pr•oposed devel opment <br />of the neighbor•hood par•k in their• ar•ea. Ther•e was good r~epresentation <br />by the nei ahbor~hood. Ther~e was al so a r•epr•esentati ve fr~om NSP at <br />the meeting who indicated NSP's willingness to work with the City in <br />the development of the park and also infor~med the Commission of NSP's <br />gr•ant pr~ogr•am and the possibility of funding for•suchdevelopment thr•ough <br />the program. <br />Page -28- <br />
