Fahey introduced the following r•esolution and moved its adoption: <br />Certificate <br />Of RESOLUTION N0. 88-5-190 - AUTHORIZING <br />Appr~eciation THE ISSUAMCE OF A CERTIFICATE OF APPRECIATIOP! <br />TO JIM BLOCK FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY <br />Agenda THROUGH THE LITTLE CANADA/VADNAIS HEIGHTS <br />Item No. 12c CHAMBER OF COMMERCE SINCE BLOCK IS LEAVING THIS <br />CHAPTER TO SERVE IN THE ROSEVILLE CHAPTER <br />The for•egoing r•esolution was duly seconded by Mr~s. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Blesener, Collova, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declar•ed adopted. <br />This r~esolution appear•s in Resolution Book PJo. 19, Page 193. <br />Canadian Fahey r~epor•ted that Canadian Days is scheduled for~ the fir•st weekend <br />Days in August which is August 5, 6 and 7, 1988. Anyone inter~ested in <br />Agenda volunteer~ing to help plan the event can contact either• Ray Hanson or~ <br />Item No. 13a Cindy 0'Banion. <br />Dog Council r•eviewed the pr•oposed dog or•dinance which was submitted by <br />Or~dinance Animal Contr•ol Planagement as a suggested or•dinance and which has <br />been adopted by the City of Vadnais Neights. <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 13b Scalze pointed out that the or•dinance should pr~ovide for• the r•equir~ement <br />of dog owner~s to cl ean up after~ thei r• pets or~ have appar•atus on them <br />to show their~ intent to clean up. <br />Blesener suggested that on page 13, par~agr~aph E the wor•ding should be <br />changed to make it clear• that a total of 3 pets are allowed. <br />LaValle noted that kenneling ser~vices ar~e pr•ovided by the veter~inarian <br />located in the City and noted that curr~ent ordinance does not make <br />pr•ovision for• kennels within the City. <br />Fahey noted that page 9 of the pr•oposed or~dinance makes pr•ovision <br />for• kennel ser~vices pr~ovided by veter~inar~ians. <br />Mr•.
