MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />May 25, 1988 <br /> Pur~suant to due call and notice ther•eof a r~egular• meeting of the <br /> Council of the City of Little Canada, Minn esota was held on the <br /> 25th day of May, 1988 in the Council Chamb er~s of th e City Center• <br /> located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Agenda Mayor• Michael Fahey chair~ed the meeting an d called it to or•der• at <br />Item No. 1 7:30 P.M. and the following member•s of the Council were pr•esent at <br /> r~oll call: <br />Agenda MEP96ERS PRESENT: Mayor~ Mr~. Michael Fahey <br />Item No. 2 Councilman Mr. Bill Blesener <br /> Councilman Mr. Rick Collova <br /> Councilman Mr. Jim LaValle <br /> Councilwoman Mr•s. Bever•ly Scalze <br /> ALSO PRESENT: City Cler•k Mr~. Joseph Chlebeck <br /> City Attor~ney Mr•. Thomas Sweeney <br /> Ci ty Engi neer~ Mr•. Donal d Car~l ey <br /> Ci ty Pl anner• Mr•. Steve Gr•i ttman <br /> Recor•ding Secr•etar•y Mr~s. Kathy Glanzer• <br />Minutes Mr•s. Scalze indicated that on page o, 3r•d paragraph of the May llth <br />meeting minutes her~ statement should be cor•r~ected to r~eflect that the <br />Agerda City could ask the Little Canada Recreation Association to donate <br />Item No. 3 an additional $90,000 towar~ds the pur•chase of par~k pr~oper•ty in the <br />Center~vi 11 e Road ar•ea. <br />Mr~. Blesener~ indicated that on page 15, 7th par•agr~aph he indicated that the <br />way to address the drainage prroblem "may" be to move the culvert further <br />east. <br />Mr~s. Scalze intr•oduced the following r•esolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 88-5-200 - APPROVING THE <br />MINUTES OF THE MAY 11, 1988 REGULAR <br />COUNCIL MEETING AS CORRECTED <br />The for•egoing r•esolution was duly seconded by Mr. Blesener•. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, Collova, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declar•ed adopted. <br />This r~esolution appear~s in Resolution Book No. 19, Page 202. <br />Announce- Fahey r•epor~ted that on Tuesday, May 31st, the Roseville Ar•ea High School <br />ments Band will be conducted by Super•intendent Roger• Wor~ner• outside the City <br />Center. The concert will begin at 10 A.M. <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 4 Scalze r•epor•ted that the School Boar•d r•ecently accepted the City's offer~ <br />to pur~chase Spooner~ Par~k for~ $470,000 with no contingencies. <br />Page -1- <br />
