Scalze suggested that the Lake Owasso <br /> Childr~en's Home give the City a listing of how the money they r•aise at <br /> the Little Canada Bingo Hall goes to benefit their r~esidents. <br /> Betty Str•ohbeen, r•epr•esenting the Lake Owasso Childr•en's Home, agr~eed <br /> to pr•ovide this listing. <br /> Scalze pointed out that r~epor•ts ar•e needed fr•om St. Joseph's Society and <br /> Ser~vants of Mar~y. <br /> The City Cler~k r•epor~ted that fie was infor•med these r•epor•ts would be <br /> coming in shortly. <br />Planning The City Council noted that it has r~eceived thr•ee applications fr•om people <br />Commission inter•ested in filling the vacancy on the Planning Commission. Fahey intr~oduced the following r~esolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 88-5-210 - APPROVING RECEIPT AND <br /> CONSIDERATION OF TNE APPLICATION TO THE PLANNING <br /> COMMISSION RECf_IVED FROM BOB PEDERSEN EVEN THOUGH <br /> IT WAS RECEIVED AFTER THE MAY 18, 1988 DEADLINE <br /> FOR SUBMISSION <br />The for~egoing r•esolution was duly seconded by Mr•. Blesener•. <br />Ayes (4) Fahey, Blesener, Collova, LaValle. <br />Nays (1) Scalze. <br />Resolution declar~ed adopted. <br />This r~esolution appear•s in Resolution Book No. 19, Page 212. <br />The Council discussed the qualifications of the applicants pointing out <br />that all thr•ee applicants ar•e qualified for• the position. <br />Collova pointed out that Mr. Pope had made application the last time <br />ther•e was a vacancy on the Commission and lost by a 3 to 2 vote.
