Bl esener~. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener•, Collova, LaValle, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declar•ed adopted. <br />This r•esolution appear•s in Resolution Book No. 19, Page 214. <br />AIC The City Attorney r•eported that the attorney representing AIC Corpor~ation <br />Pr•oper~ty has contacted his office r~egar~ding a one year~ contr•act for~ deed for• the <br />pur~chase of the nor~ther~n 4 acr•es of the AIC pr•oper•ty. This matter• will <br />Agenda be br•ought back to the Council once the City Attor•ney r•eceives a signed <br />Addition pur•chase agr•eement. <br />Or~dinance The Council discussed r•ecent Planning Commission action denying Or•dinance <br />No. 298 No. 298 r•egar•ding accessor•y r~esidential apar~tments in cer•tain business <br />distr•icts due to concer•ns they had as well as the fact that ther•e is no <br />Agenda r~equest for• such use. The Planning Commission suggested that if the <br />Item No. 13 issue is reactivated, the property ordinance be revised to reflect their <br />comments at their• r•ecent meeting. <br />Mr~s. Scalze intr•oduced the following r~esolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 88-5-213 - DENYING ORDINANCE <br />N0. 298 - AN ORDINA~lCE AMENDING SECTION 912 <br />OF THE LITTLE CANADA CITY CODE, KNOWN AS THE <br />LITTLE CANADA ZONING ORDINANCE REGARDING <br />ACCESSORY RESIDENTIAL APAP.TMENTS FOR CERTAIN <br />BUSINESSES I~l THE B-3, GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT <br />The for•egoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr~. Blesener~. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener•, Collova, LaValle, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This r•esolution appear•s in Resolution Book No. 19, Page 215. <br />Economic Fahey repor•ted that the Economic Development Committee met this mor•ning <br />Development and discussed the Metro East Fair•. A r•epr•esentative of the Real Estate <br />Commission Jour•nal was pr•esent and suggested that the City adver•tise in that jour~nal. <br />Agenda However~, the Committee felt that the money would be better• spent tar•geting <br />Item No. 14 specific developer•s. <br />The next meeting of the Committee is scheduled for~ Tuesday, May 31, at <br />7:00 P.M. to r•eview final site inventor~y and development pr~ogr•am to <br />adver~tise the City's vacant pr~oper•ties. <br />Page -14- <br />
