MINUTES <br />City Council <br />September~ 28, 1988 <br />R& S Mr. Rustad reported that he paid a park charge on the property about 9 <br />Automotive years ago. <br />PUD (Cont.) <br />The City Clerk was instructed to research this matter. <br />Scalze pointed out that if a park charge is necessary, the City will need <br />an appraisal of the property in order to determine the amount of the charge. <br />The Council was of the concensus that the sunset clause recommended by <br />the City Planner should be eliminated as a requirement of approval. It <br />was pointed out that the salvage yar•d will be eliminated at the time the <br />rear pr•operty is developed. <br />DeBace asked the status of the PUD Agreement. <br />The City Attorney reported that he has seen a draft copy of the Agr•eement, <br />but that agreement must be signed before a building per~mit can be issued. <br />The Attorney also reported that he needs to r•eview the abstract of the <br />proper•ty so that he can determine ownership. <br />The City Clerk r•eported that he will research the park charge issue <br />tomorrow. <br />Mr. Blesener• introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 88-9-407 - APPROVING THE DEVELOPMENT <br />STAGE PUD FOR R& S AUTOMOTIVE EXPANSION SUBJECT TO <br />COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER <br />AS CONTAINED IN HIS REPORT DATED SEPTEMBER 6, 1988 <br />EXCEPT THAT THE AUTO SALVAGE BUSINESS WILL NOT BE <br />REQUIRED TO BE PHASED OUT WITNIN THREE YEARS, AND <br />SUBJECT TO APPROVAL OF THE SITE PLAN BY THE BUILDING <br />INSPECTOR AND SUBJECT TO PAYMENT OF AN APPROPRIATE <br />PARK CHARGE IF AFTER REVIEW THE CITY CLERK DETERMINES <br />THAT A PARK CHARGE HAS NOT ALREADY BEEN PAID ON THIS <br />PROPERTY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Fahey, Scalze. <br />Nays (0) <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This r•esolution appears in Resolution Book No. 20, page 421. <br />Palmen The City Clerk reported that Mr. Ron Palmen is requesting a fill permit <br />Fill Permit for an additional 1,000 cubic yards of fill over that which was previously <br />approved by the Council. <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 10 The City Engineer repor~ted that he has not reviewed the request, but did <br />not anticipate a problem. <br />Page -10- <br />
