MINUTES <br />City Council <br />October 26, 1988 <br />Election The City Clerk pr•esented the Coiancil with a list of election judges which <br />Judges he recommended be hired for the November 8th National Election. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Collova, Scalze, Blesener•, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays (O). <br />Resolution declar~ed adopted. <br />This r~esolution appear•s in Resolution ~ook No. 20, page 492. <br />Gardner The City Council r•eviewed Gar•dner Br•os.'s r•equest for reimbursement of <br />Br~os. Tree $7,459.50 for~ watermain oversizing. <br />Removal <br />The City Engineer r•eported that the City r•equested that Gardner~ Bros. <br />Agenda install a 10 inch water•main rather than a 6 inch main so that watermain <br />Addition can eventually be looped over to Edger~ton. <br />However•, the City Engineer stated that before reimbur•sement for• the water~main <br />is approved, he would like to r•eview a detailed bid for the improvement. <br />The Engineer suggested that action on the matter be tabled until he has <br />reviewed these costs. <br />The Council reviewed the request of Gardner~ Br~os. for• reimbursement for <br />tree r•emoval. <br />Blesener r•eported that Public Wor•ks has r~ecommended that the r~equest be <br />Page -26- <br />
