MINUTES <br />City Council <br />October 26, 1988 <br />Little <br />Canada <br />School <br />Expansion <br />(Cont.) <br />RESOLUTION N0. 88-10-474 - AUTNORIZING THE <br />CITY ENGINEER TO LOOK INTO THF FEASIBILITY <br />AND COST OF THE CITY'S PARTICIPATING WITH <br />THE SCHOOL DISTRICT IN PARKING LOT EXPANSION <br />ON THE t~EST SIDE OF THE LITTLE CANADA SCHOOL <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by P1r•. alesener. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Collova, Scalze, Fahey. <br />~lays (0). <br />Resolution declar~ed adopted. <br />This r•esolution appear•s in Resol~ation 6ook PJo. 20, page 4£39. <br />Scalze r•eported that the Park and P.ecr•eation people have mentioned <br />that in conjunction with a par~king lot impr~ovement in this ar•ea, the <br />possibility of a trail system connecting the school to Spooner Park <br />should be consider•ed as well. <br />Tree Scalze reported that the Park Commission recently called for bids for <br />Planting tr•ee and shr•ub planting in Spooner Park, Ger•vais Mill Par•k and Thunder• <br />Bay Par•k. The low bid was received fr~om Southview Design and Constr•uction <br />P,genda in the amount of $7,768.50, and the Park Commission has recoinmended that <br />Ad<!ition the low b*d be awarded. The trees and shrubs to be planted will provide <br />wildlife~x~esti-n~t_ar~as. feeding areas. * <br />*correction Mr•s. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Res.
