MINUTES City Council November 9, 1988 Audio- RESOLUTION N0. 88-11-498 - APPROVING THE Visual PURCHASE OF AUDIO VISUAL AIDS AS PROPOSED BY System BILL BRUCE AT A COST OF APPROXIPIATELY $6,540 (Cont.) AND AS OUTLINED IN THE QUOTATION OF AVC, THE COST OF WHICH WILL BE PAID FOR FROM CABLE TV FRANCNISE FEES The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 20, Page 533. Schrier Collova noted the report the Council has received fr~om the Building Inspector• r~egar•ding his meeting with Mr. Schr•ier• on the Round Lake Agenda Townhomes. Item No. 13a Gr•oup Scalze reported that on December 8th at 6:30 P.M. there is a meeting Homes in Maplewood to discuss group homes. Scalze r•eported that there is Agenda legislation pending which will put a minimum distance between group Addition homes. This is an attempt to relieve an overconcentration of group homes in the Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, and get some of the homes out into the suburbs. The City Clerk r•eported that he will attend this meeting. Metr~o Fahey repor•ted that he attended a meeting of mayors on the Metro East East Development Corporation. Goals and objectives were discussed at that meeting. The plan is to have more marketing of the Metro East area Agenda tarqetinq developer•s. Addition Scalze pointed out that Metro East's developmental fair will be held in Apr•il of 1989 and suggested that the City give some thought to whether~ or• not it should have a display. Super- The City Attorney reported that the Super•Cycle contr~act for 1989 was Cycle in order.
