MIPJUTES <br />City Council <br />Dec. 14, 1988 <br />Agency F9r. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Agreement <br />(Cont.) RESOLUTION N0. 88-12-535 - APPOINTI~IG FIRST <br />TRUST NATIONAL ASSOCIATIOP,I [~OND REGISTRAR <br />FOR TFIE TAXARLF GE~IFRA~ OBLIGATION TAX INCREMENT <br />BONDS OF 19II8 <br />The foregoin,o, resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br />Ayes (4) alesener, Fahey, Collova, LaNalle. <br />Plays (0). <br />Resolution cfeclared adopted. <br />This r~esolution aopears in Resolution Book No. 20, Page 573. <br />Yaggy Fahey repor•ted that Yag~y Colby is r•edoing their r•epor•t on the Country <br />Colby Drive area since the first report prepared was not what the Council had <br />Repor•t wanted. Fahey suggested that after the r~evised r~eport is submitted, a <br />meeting of the Fconomic Development Committee be scheduled. <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 12a <br />School Fahey reported that he has reviewed the agreement between the City and <br />Distr•ict School Distr•ict cover~ing the City's par~ticipation in the cost of the <br />A~r~eement addition to the Little Canada Flementar~y School, and the City's ability <br />to use School facilities. Fahey recoromended approval of the Agreement. <br />Flgenda Bl esener• noted that the Ci ty has r~ecei ved 1 etter~s fr•om the School Di str•i ct <br />Item No. lla and its architect regar•ding the addition. <br />The City Clerk noted that the content of these letter•s r•efers to discussions <br />held between the City's Recr•eation Department staff and the School Distr•ict. <br />LaValle suggested that the City obtain a first-r•ight-of-r~efusal for the <br />pr~operty should the School District decide to sell the proper•ty in the <br />futur•e. <br />The Council discussed this suggestion and felt it unncessary, feeling that <br />if the School Distr~ict would decide to sell, they woul~+ appr•oach the City <br />first. <br />The Council r•eviewed the r•evised parking lay-out on the west side of <br />the building. The City Engineer explained the revisions and also the <br />drainage of the site as prop~sed. <br />Blesener noted that the School District would like the biddinq on the <br />project to occur• as soon as possible. <br />The City Engineer• estimated that bids would be received no later than <br />Mar~ch lst, but stated that he would attempt to receive bids ear~lier than <br />that d.ate, if possible. <br />Page -13- <br />
