Fahey felt that the City should move fore~ard <br />(Cont.) aggr•essively with the development of this par~k to the fullest extent <br />possible. <br />Scalze repor~ted that she and Jim Morelan, Ken 6~dehrle, Steve Mor•elan and <br />6i11 Sander•s have discussed development pr•ior•ities and r~eported that <br />these pr~ior•ities will be finalized at the Januar•y Park Corm~ission meeting. <br />Fahey stated that he will sent a letter to the Little Canada Recr~eation <br />Association asking them to consider doing something in connection with <br />cfevelopment of the park, hoping that whatever~ portion of the development <br />the,y would be willing to participate in could be constructed in 1989. <br />Scalze reported that the City Clerk is putting together a report <br />outlining donations received by the City last year• as well as expenditur•es <br />made fr•om the var~ious park funds. <br />Temporary The City Cler•k r•eported that the Little Canada Recr•eation Association would <br />3.2 Beer~ like a tempor•ar•y 3.2 beer and wine per•mit in conjunction with their• Slow <br />& 6dine Pitch Softball on Ice Tour•nament to be held January 14 and 15, 1989. <br />Permit <br />Mr•s. SOFTBALL ON ICE TOURNAR1ENT TO BE HELD ON JANUARY <br />89-1-1- 14 AND 15> -i-988~ 1989 <br />The for•egoing r•esolution was duly seconded by Mr. LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Fahey, Blesener, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 20, Page 600. <br />KVBM TV Fahey reviewed the letter• dated December 12, 1988 he received fr•om Sheldon <br />Johnson regarding a TV transmission facility for KVBM TV. <br />Agenda <br />Addition The Council suggested that the Mayor meet with Mr. Johnson to determine <br />exactly what his pr•oposal is. <br />Scalze noted that the City of Shor•eview adopted an ordinance which r•equir~es <br />user fees for transmission tower~s since they were not getting any tax <br />r~evenue fr~om these towers. <br />School Fahey reported that John Thein of the School Distr•ict would like to meet <br />Distr~ict with City representatives regar•ding the little Canada School addition <br />pr•oposal prior• to the City meeting with the School Boar•d.
