Scalze introduced the following r•esolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 89-1-19 - APPROVING THE <br />COPITR~CT QETWEEN THE CITY AND SANDERS <br />AND ASSOCIATES FOR LANDSC~PE CONSULTING <br />FOR TNE YEAR 1.989 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by PSr. Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener~, Collvoa, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declar~ed adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Qook No. 21, Page 19. <br />Recr•eation <br />Report <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 16 <br />Scalze reported that there are 81 children participating in the winter <br />gymnastics pr•ogram. Ther•e ar•e 7 hockey teams i n the Ci ty' s pr•ogr•am <br />as well as 68 children participating in skating lessons. 23 childr•en <br />ar~e r•eqi ster•ed for~ an i n-house basketbal l cl i nic. There are al so 5 <br />boys basketball teams and 2 gir•ls basketball teams. <br />Scalze reported that the Children's Skating Party is scheduled for <br />Satur•clay, February ~th from 1 P.M. until 3 P.P1. <br />Ramsey Scalze reported that there is a Ramsey League meeting with legislator~s <br />League scheduled for Januar~,y 18th at 7:30 P.M. at the State Office Building. <br />Meeting Scalze pointed out that this is a good opportunity to ask questions <br />and discuss issues with Legislator•s. <br />Agenda <br />Flddition <br />Schroeder The Council reviewed the request of Mr•s. Schr•oeder for• a defer•red <br />Deferr•ed assessment. It was noted that past City policy is to defer assessments <br />Assessment on homestead proper•ty only, and fr•om the application suhmitted the <br />Request pr•operty does not appear to be homestead. <br />Agenda h1r.
