PIINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />Little Canada, P1innesota <br />January 25, 1989 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice ther•eof a regular meeting of the <br /> Council of the City of Little Canada, Mi nnesota was held on the <br /> 25th day of Januar~y, 1989 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br /> located at 515 Little Canada Road in sai d City. <br />Agenda Mayor Michael Fahey chaired the meeting and called it to order at <br />Item No. 1 7:30 P.M. and the following member•s of the Council were pr~esent at <br /> r•oll call: <br />Agenda P9EMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Michael Fahey <br />Item No. 2 Councilman Mr. Bill Blesener <br /> Councilman Mr. Rick Collova <br /> Councilman Mr•. Steve Grittman <br /> Recor~ding Secretar~y Mrs. Kathleen Glanzer <br />Plinutes alesener~ pointed out that page 16 of the January 11, 1989 minutes shoultl. <br />be amended to point out that State Law does not allow the defer~r~ment of <br />Agenda assessments on pr•oper•ty which is not homesteaded. <br />Item No. 3 <br />Mr~. Blesener introduced the following r•esolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 89-1-24 - APPROVING THE <br />MINUTES OF THE JANUARY 11, 1989 REGULAR <br />COUNCIL MEETING AS AMENDED <br />The for•egoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr•. Collova. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener•, Collova, Scalze, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appear•s in Resolution Book No. 21, Paqe 25. <br />Announcements The Mayor• reviewed a letter r•eceived fr•om the Little Canada Recr•eation <br />Association in which they infor•m the City that they will be donating <br />Agenda $100,000 towar•ds the development of Centerville Road Par~k which can be <br />Item No. 4 used by the City as it sees fit, and will be donating another~ $100,000 <br />to be used for• the constr~uction of a building in the Par•k. <br />The Mayor accepted the donation fr•om the Recr•eation Association and <br />extended his thanks on behalf of the City. The Mayor• stated that the <br />donation will enable the City to move further ahead in developing the <br />par•k according to the pr•ior•ities which have been established by the <br />Par•k Commission. <br />Page -1- <br />
