MINUTES <br />City Council <br />Jan. ?_5, 1989 <br />Char~les <br />4leber <br />Rezoning <br />(Cont.) <br />There was no one fr•om the general public present wishing to comment <br />further on this matter. <br />Mr. Blesener intr~oduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 89-1-29 - CLOSING THE <br />PU6LIC HEARING ON TNE l+lEf3ER REOUEST <br />FOR REZO~II~IG PROPERTY FROM f3-3 T0 I-1 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Scalze, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appear•s in Resolution L~ook No. 21, Page 31. <br />Scalze pointed out to Mr. l~leber that auto-body shops are not a <br />permitted use in a B-3 zone. <br />Weber stated that he was awar•e of that. <br />Weber pointed out that he had to pay $350.00 for the rezoning application. <br />The City Clerk r•eplied that the cost of the City Planner and and staff <br />would be deducted fr~om this fee, and the remaining halance retur•ned to <br />Mr. Weber~. <br />Mr•. glesener introduced the following r•esolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 89-1-30 - CONFIRMIPJG THAT IN <br />ACCORDANCE WITH TNE CITY'S ZONIDIG CODE, THAT <br />AS LOPdG AS THE PROPERTY AT 2962 RICE STREFT <br />IS A LOT OF RECORD, TNE PROPERTY IS DFVELOPABLF <br />AS B-3 PROPERTY EVEN THOUGH THE PROPERTY HAS A <br />FRONTAGF OF 71 FEET ALONG RICF STREFT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) alesener, Fahey, Scalze, Collova, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 21, Page 32. <br />Mondor• & Fahey pointed oiat that the P1anning Commission has tabled action on <br />M& M the pr•oposal to rezone the Mondor and P4 E M Properties property fr•om <br />Properties ~-~ ^o PUD B-3 until the February Planning Commission mgeting to give <br />P1r. P.cNamara an opportunity to contact the Mondor's dau hter about <br />Agenda the possible purchase of the P4ondor property. <br />Item No. 7 g~esener~ stated that he believed Mr•. P9cNamar•a had discussed the matter <br />with the Mondor's, but agr•eed that the daughter• would be the best <br />person to pr~esent such a proposal to. <br />Page -9- <br />
