MINUTES <br />City Council <br />February 8, 1989 <br />Economic Mayor Fahey stated that Yaggy Colby sent him a letter. The <br />Development Mayor stated that they will go forward and have business <br />development services put together a program over the next <br />Agenda 30 days. They are to get all of the prices into the City's <br />Item No. 8 Consultant. <br />Development Scalze stated that the Metro East Development Fair would be <br />manned by Ken Plug, also Pat Pelstrum will take care of <br />getting a Booth Display. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89-2-60 - AUTHORIZING THE <br />CLERK TO SUBMIT REGISTRATION FOR THE BOOTH <br />AT THE METRO EAST DEVELOPMENT FAIR, APRIL <br />27, FOR $100 AND FOR MR. PLUG TO BE AT THE <br />BOOTH. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Blesener. <br />Ayes (5), Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 21, Page 62. <br />Animal Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved <br />Control its adoption: <br />Agenda RESOLUTION N0. 89-2-61 - APPROVING THE Item <br />No. 9a ANIMAL CONTROL CONTRACT FOR 1989, FOR <br />$579/MONTH. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Collova. <br />Ayes (5), Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 21, Page 63. <br />Emergency Chlebeck informed the Council about the Emergency Vehicle <br />Vehicle Preemption System and stated that the money should come <br />Preemption from the Minn.D.O.T. funds. He thinks that the City needs <br />System a Joint Powers Agreement with the Highway Department. The <br />Fire Department does not have the funds for the actual <br />Agenda equipment as of yet. <br />Item No. 9b <br />The Mayor said that he felt this included the system on the <br />light. <br />Page14 <br />
