One is the St. Paul School District, the other is 916 Vo <br /> Tech, anc~ the third is Concor•dia Academy. <br />Aqenda <br />Item No. 4 The Council discussec~ this issue a length with the concensus beinq that <br /> the proposed uses of the pr•oper~ty should be r•eviewed to deter•mirie if <br /> they fit withiri the City's Code. The Couricil was of the impression that <br /> the use pr•oposed by Coricor•dia Academy may be the most feasible arid it <br /> was suggested that the City offer to meet with Concordia Academy to <br /> try to assist in movinq the purchase along. <br /> Fahey stated that he would coritact the various par•ties ir~ this matter. <br /> Blesener• r•epor•ted that 916 ma,y riot be ver•y iriterestecl since the City <br /> would enforce Appendix E reaulations as part of the purchase, and <br /> 916 pr•efer•s not to become irivolved with Appendix E. <br />Watercraft Fahey noted that the City has received a request from one resident on <br />Ordinance Lake Gervais for adoption of a watercraft ordinance. <br />Aqenda It was the concensusof the Council not to act on this request unless a <br />Item No. 15a petition siqned by 35% of the property owners on Gervais were submitted <br />making the same request. <br />Truck Bids Mr. Blesener introduced the followina resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Aaenda RESOLUTION N0. 89-4-175 - A RFSOLUTI0~1 <br />Item No. 16a ACCEPTING THE BID OF CHRIS FRIBFRG IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $726.00 FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE <br />CITY'S 1978 CHEVROLET PICK-UP TRUCK AND <br />REOUESTING THAT PAYMENT BE MADE IJITH A <br />CASHIER'S CHECK <br />The foreqoinq resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Fahey, Scalze, LaValle, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Public tdorks Blesener r~eported that prior to the meetinq this eveninq, the Council <br />Super•iriteriderit iriter•viewed the four• applicants for the position of Public Wor•ks <br />Superintendent. <br />Aqenda <br />Item No. 16b Fahey felt that the iriter•view pr•ocess was a qood orie. <br />f3lesener suggested that action not be taken until the Council has all <br />the information on the applicants. ~3lesener suqqested that the Council <br />act on hirin~ a new superinterid.ent at the P~ay 3rd Special Council meetinp. <br />Page -28- <br />
