Scalze pointed <br />out that these ar•e City streets, and the Cit,y can install the stop siqns. <br />The City Enqineer agreed. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the followinp resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 89-4-179 - RFOUESTI~IG PU~LIC WORKS <br />TO INSTAL~ A FOUR-6JAY STOP AT THF INTFRSECTI0~1 OF <br />D~SOTO APID LABORF ROAD, IJITH INSTFILLATION TO [~F <br />DFLAYFD UNTIL THE TR~IL IS IMPROVED <br />The foreqoing resolution ~vas c~uly seconded by Mr. f3lesener. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, Collova, ~aValle, Fahey. <br />Nays (~l. <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Scalze requested that the PJorth Suburban Youth Association be informed <br />about this actiori. <br />Spooner Park Scalze reported that the Park Commission is lookina into the purchase of <br />playqround equipment for Spooner Park. The equipment will be colored <br />Aqenda steel rather than timbers, since the steel is longer lasting. <br />Atlc~ition <br />The Recreation Director anticipated a 20-year life for the steel equipment. <br />Pine Trees Scalze reported that Maraolis Bros. has quoted a price of $52.50 to dig <br />and ball and burlap 7 to 9 foot pine trees, and $105.00 for 9 to 17_ foot <br />Aqenda trees.
