MzN~mEs <br />City Council <br />July 26, 19II9 <br />Tree <br />Inspector Mr. Blesener stated that we have received three <br />applications for the position of Tree Inspector, <br />Mr> Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoptions <br />I2ESOLUTION N0. £39-7-350 - RECOMA9~NDING TFI11T WE IIIRF KUND~ & <br />COr1P11NY AS TR~L INSP~CTOR UNTIL APRIL l, 1990, <br />The £oregoing resolution was duly seconded by t~r. Collova. <br />Ayes (9) <br />Nays (0) <br />Resolution declared adopted, <br />Liquor <br />License P9r, Grittman presented the Council o~ith a revision to the <br />liquor licensing ordinance. The first classification would <br />be an "On-Sale A Restaurant" type license requiring the <br />inclusion of food service with a seating capacity, a <br />building square footage requirement and an assessors market <br />valuation of the property, The second classification would <br />be an "On-Sale ~ Tavern" type license that could be applied <br />to some of the existing operations in the City. <br />The Council discussed the seating capacity and valuation <br />u~ith t9r, Grittman. <br />This matter will be tabled for 30 clays, <br />Speed Limits hSr> Grittman reported that he has conducted a survey of the <br />surrounding communities relative to local residential speed <br />restrictions. The State Commisioner of Highways is the only <br />one who can reduce these speed limits. Other than for <br />school zones and sharp curves, only one request (of many> <br />for reduced speed limits was honored. That request came in <br />an industrial area in Roseville subject to heavy truck <br />tra£fic, <br />Mr. Carley has sent in a request to the Highway Department <br />to study the speed limit on Westwind Drive and b~7indrow <br />Drive, <br />Boosalis <br />Proposal P-1r. Grittman reported that they are waiting for a economic <br />adjustment factor £or the tax increment financing £rom the <br />County for the I3oosalis proposal, <br />The Council discussed the development of the residential <br />property. <br />12 <br />
