MzN~mEs City Council July 26, 19II9 Tree Inspector Mr. Blesener stated that we have received three applications for the position of Tree Inspector, Mr> Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoptions I2ESOLUTION N0. £39-7-350 - RECOMA9~NDING TFI11T WE IIIRF KUND~ & COr1P11NY AS TR~L INSP~CTOR UNTIL APRIL l, 1990, The £oregoing resolution was duly seconded by t~r. Collova. Ayes (9) Nays (0) Resolution declared adopted, Liquor License P9r, Grittman presented the Council o~ith a revision to the liquor licensing ordinance. The first classification would be an "On-Sale A Restaurant" type license requiring the inclusion of food service with a seating capacity, a building square footage requirement and an assessors market valuation of the property, The second classification would be an "On-Sale ~ Tavern" type license that could be applied to some of the existing operations in the City. The Council discussed the seating capacity and valuation u~ith t9r, Grittman. This matter will be tabled for 30 clays, Speed Limits hSr> Grittman reported that he has conducted a survey of the surrounding communities relative to local residential speed restrictions. The State Commisioner of Highways is the only one who can reduce these speed limits. Other than for school zones and sharp curves, only one request (of many> for reduced speed limits was honored. That request came in an industrial area in Roseville subject to heavy truck tra£fic, Mr. Carley has sent in a request to the Highway Department to study the speed limit on Westwind Drive and b~7indrow Drive, Boosalis Proposal P-1r. Grittman reported that they are waiting for a economic adjustment factor £or the tax increment financing £rom the County for the I3oosalis proposal, The Council discussed the development of the residential property. 12
