MINUTES <br />Council Meeting <br />July 2.6, 1989 <br />Country Dr <br />Rezoning <br />Mr> Fahey opened the Public Hearing regarding the rezoning <br />of Country Drive Properties to Industrial Park or Planned <br />Unit Development. The location of this land is south of <br />South Osaasso I31vd., north of the Water Florks, east of <br />Condit Street and west of Country Drive, <br />The Planning Commission and the Planner recommended the <br />rezoning of the property to PUD. <br />explained that they were not proposing to rezone that <br />property as part of this hearing. D1rs. Scalze indicated <br />that the Developer they toere working with was willing to <br />buffer this property> <br />Mrs. Elaine Zoch, 2995 Condit, appeared before the Council <br />questioning what would happen to their property which is <br />zoned B-3, and if they would have a buffer zone, Mr. Fahey <br />Mr. Pat Conway, 170 Burke Lane, appeared before the Council <br />questioning whether apartments would be allowed under this <br />PUD and whether restrictions could be put on future <br />Councils not to allow apartments. Mrs. Scalze does not see <br />this Council or a future Council adding apartments. It <br />would take a public hearing and four votes to add <br />apartments. <br />Mr. George 2ender, 2II01 Country Drive, questioned o~hether <br />he would have to get some kind of clearance from the <br />Council to sell his property. fie was ac~vised that he coould <br />not and that the moratorium was lifted on the property. <br />Mr. Pahey introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoptions <br />RESOLUTSON N0. 89-7-332 - CLOSING TH~ PUSLIC HEARING <br />12GGARDING THE REZONTNG OF TI3E COUNTRY DRIVF PROPBRTIES. <br />Resolution declared adopted, <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by b1r. Collova, <br />F~yes (9) <br />Dlays (0) <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoptions <br />RESOLUTION N0. 89-7-333 - APPROVING TAE REZONING OF THE <br />PROPERTIES DESCRIBED SN THE PLANNER'S REPORT AND IN THE <br />NOTICE OF THIS MEETING AS PREVIOUSLY DTSCUSSED FROM THE <br />CURREIVT ZONING TO PUD~ ~1ND IT IS THE INTENTION OF THIS <br />COUNCTL THAT APARTMENT BUILDINGS WOULD NOT BE CONTEPIPLATED <br />IN TI3IS ZONING. <br />9 <br />
