Mac's Models The E3earing on the Text Amendment to include a radio controlled vehicle track to commercial recreational use r~as tabled to the 1lugust 9 meeting, because it has not been published. This Amendment has an informal approval from the Council, The Council discussed the site plan with Mr. Dean Nelson and the Planner. Mr. Grittman stated that lA of the 2.9 parking spaces are not in compliance with the ordinance. The road easement was also discussed, According to the ordinance ~16 parking spaces are required, ~9rs. Scalze stated that the buildings behind them could not be adc3ed onto until the road ~•~as improved. Off-site parking was also discussed. It would be permissible within 350 feet, but would have to be paved parking. Ms. Darcey Weber, who is interested in purchasing the property with Mr. Nelson, explained the use of the retail store and the track. The hours would overlap. Action on this site plan will be tabled pending an adequate parking plan. The owner of the building asked what business woulc9 be acceptable for his building. It was suggested that he meet with Mr. Grittman. valento Variance P~r. Fahey opened the Public Hearing regarding the request from Don Valento £or a 25 foot front setback on three lots on Valento Lane due to the curve of the street, The Planning Commission recommencled denial oP the request due to the fact that there was no hardship involved> Mr. Valento was not in attendance, r9rs.
