MINUTES <br />Council Meeting <br />July 26, 19a9 <br />Hoffman CUP <br />Ccont.) <br />Correction <br />8-9-89 <br />Duray <br />DeBace <br />riremen <br />Relief Asso <br />Mr. Collova introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 89-7-338 - APPROVING THE I30FFMAN CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT SUBJECT TO THE CONDITIONS IN THE PLANNER'S <br />REPORT DATED JULY 25 WITH NO RESIDENTSALCUSE OF THE fIOBBY <br />SHOP IN THE FUTURE. OR COMMERCIAL <br />Resolution declared adopted, <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br />Ayes (4) <br />Nays (0) <br />Mr. Duray, Hoggsbreath, asked for a delay in his request <br />for amendment to the on-sale liquor establishments' hours <br />of operation until the next meeting. <br />P4r. Bob DeBace, President of the Little Canada Fire <br />Department Relief Association, which is the Pension Fund, <br />reported to the City Council. There has been a progressive <br />schedule for increases in the previous years. The proposal <br />£or next year is to go to 51,600 per year of service. This <br />would be financed by the Little Canada Fire Department <br />Charitable Gambling to Eully fund this proposal. The <br />future money going into the Relief Association would goentirely <br />into the equipment and building fund. <br />Mr, Slesener introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89-7-339 - INCREASING THE FIREM~N'S PENSION <br />FUND FROM 51,200 TO 51,600 PER YEAR OF SERVICE AS OF nUGUST <br />1, 1989 AND WITEi THE TRANSFER OF THE AMOUNT BEING <br />DETERMINGD BY BOB VOTO FROM THE BUILDING AND EqUIPMENT FUND <br />INTO THE PENSION FUND TO NIAKE IT 100 PERCENT FUNDED. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (3) Slesener, Scalze, Collova <br />Abstaining (1) Fahey <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />P9rs. Scalze sta~ed that she was very pleased with the Fire <br />Department system and she was happy to be able to serve on <br />the Board> <br />7 <br />
