MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JANUARY 22, 2025 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was convened on the 24th day of January 2025 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Tom Fischer called the meeting to order at 7:32 p.m. and the following members of the City <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Fischer, Council Members Malone, Kwapick, Gutierrez, and Miller. <br />Absent: None. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Chris Heineman, Community Relations Manager Lauran <br />Linehan, ParksandRecreation Director Steve Anderson,- Public Works -Director Bill Dircks, City -- <br />Engineer Eric Seaburg, and City Clerk/HR Manager Heidi Heller. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2 025-1-16 — APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE JANUARY 8, <br />2025 WORKSHOP AND THE JANUARY 8, 2025 REGULAR MEETINGS AS <br />SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Gutierrez. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />The Community Relations Manager announced that spring registration for parks and recreation <br />programming will begin on February 1" with shelter reservations opening for residents on February 4th. <br />She reminded residents that Morris Leatherman will soon be contacting about 400 residents for the <br />community survey to obtain valuable insight on how the City is doing and provided more information <br />on that process. She stated that the draft community survey questions have been sent to the Council <br />and welcomed any input this week. <br />Miller asked if the caller identification would show Morris Leatherman for the survey. The <br />Community Relations Manager did not believe it would state Morris Leatherman but noted that staff <br />could share some information once obtained about the numbers that would be calling. <br />The Parks and Development Director announced that on February 8th the Fire Department will be <br />holding its annual booyah beginning at 8 a.m. <br />Mayor Fischer commented that there will be a Little Canada Recreation Association skating party this <br />Saturday from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />None. <br />
