MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA JANUARY 22, 2025 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 24th day of January 2025 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Mayor Tom Fischer called the meeting to order at 7:32 p.m. and the following members of the City Council were present at roll call: CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Fischer, Council Members Malone, Kwapick, Gutierrez, and Miller. Absent: None. ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Chris Heineman, Community Relations Manager Lauran Linehan, ParksandRecreation Director Steve Anderson,- Public Works -Director Bill Dircks, City -- Engineer Eric Seaburg, and City Clerk/HR Manager Heidi Heller. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2 025-1-16 — APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE JANUARY 8, 2025 WORKSHOP AND THE JANUARY 8, 2025 REGULAR MEETINGS AS SUBMITTED The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Gutierrez. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. ANNOUNCEMENTS The Community Relations Manager announced that spring registration for parks and recreation programming will begin on February 1" with shelter reservations opening for residents on February 4th. She reminded residents that Morris Leatherman will soon be contacting about 400 residents for the community survey to obtain valuable insight on how the City is doing and provided more information on that process. She stated that the draft community survey questions have been sent to the Council and welcomed any input this week. Miller asked if the caller identification would show Morris Leatherman for the survey. The Community Relations Manager did not believe it would state Morris Leatherman but noted that staff could share some information once obtained about the numbers that would be calling. The Parks and Development Director announced that on February 8th the Fire Department will be holding its annual booyah beginning at 8 a.m. Mayor Fischer commented that there will be a Little Canada Recreation Association skating party this Saturday from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. PUBLIC COMMENT None.
