16 <br />CONFIDENTIAL <br />© NEUGER 2025 <br />WORK EXPERIENCE <br />Chill-Inn Lanesboro <br />The Challenge <br />A tourism assessment revealed that Lanesboro, a <br />small city in southeastern Minnesota, generated <br />just 11% of its revenue during the winter months, <br />with the majority being made during the warmer <br />months. To bridge this seasonal revenue gap, <br />Neuger partnered with the Lanesboro Area <br />Chamber of Commerce to develop a winter <br />tourism marketing plan designed to boost off-peak <br />engagement and drive year-round business. <br />The Strategy <br />Using the Chamber’s existing campaign, Chill-Inn <br />Lanesboro, we developed audience-segmented <br />messaging and a multi-channel marketing plan <br />that aimed to both grow revenue for existing and <br />new businesses and gain measurable results to <br />convince existing businesses to stay open and <br />build off-season revenue.
