MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
September 27, 1989
LaValle asked about vehicles that have been sitting on
the property for a year.
Scalze stated that if the vehicle has been on the site
for a year, it is obviously junk.
Fahey requested the Code Enforcement Officer to check
out the Stanke property for any such violations.
Stanke asked when something would be done about the
condition of Ryan Drive.
The City Engineer reported that Frank Frattalone is
working in the area, and as a result of his project,
the peat in the area is pushing up and causing damage
to Ryan Drive. However, Frattalone has informed the
City that he will repair any damage to the road in the
spring.
Stanke reported that the ditch in the area is backing
up, which he believes is a result of the Frattalone
project as well.
Council discussed the fact that Frattalone's fill
permit expired on June 6, 1989, and the Council
requested that Mr. Frattalone appear at the next
Council meeting to review the status of his permit with
the Council as well as his intentions for the repair of
Ryan Drive.
REDLUND Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the request
CUP of Stephen Redlund for a Conditional Use Permit for an
ACCESSORY accessory garage at 161 Viking Drive East. Fahey
GARAGE reported that the Planning Commission has recommended
approval of the Conditional Use Permit subject to the
recommendations of the City Planner.
There was no one from the general public present
wishing to comment on this matter.
Blesener explained that Mr. Redlund's intentions are to
convert a recreation area in his home back into a
garage area as it was originally.
Mr. Blesener introduced the followinq resolution and
moved its adoption:
Page 10
