MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />September 27, <br />CARLSON <br />SIDE YARD <br />SETBACK <br />VARIANCE <br />1989 <br />The Mayor opened the public hearing to consider the <br />application submitted by Mr. Ronald Carlson, 216 Burke <br />Lane, for sideyard setback variance. <br />Fahey noted that this request has been previously <br />approved by the City Counicl on two other occasions, <br />but approval has lapsed each time. Fahey also noted <br />that the Planning Commission has recommended approval <br />of the variance request. <br />Carlson pointed out that the lot is less than 75 feet <br />in width at the street, and requested that the Council <br />also indicate that the lot is buildable. <br />There was no one present from the general public <br />wishing to comment on this matter. <br />Mr. Collova introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 89-9-460 - CLOSING THE PUBLIC HEARING <br />The foregoinq resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. <br />Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Collova, Scalze, Fahey, Blesener, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 89-9-461 - APPROVING THE RONALD CARLSON <br />APPLICATION FOR SIDE YARD SETBACK VARIANCE AND A LOT <br />WIDTH LESS THAN 75 FEET SINCE THE PROPERTY IS A LOT OF <br />RECORD AND HAS AN UNUSUAL SHAPE AND SINCE IT I5 <br />APPARENT THAT THERE WILL NOT BE A ROAD DEVELOPED <br />ADJACENT TO THE PROPERTY IN THE FUTURE AND WITA THE <br />STIPULATION THAT NO FURTHER DIVISION OF THE PROPERTY OR <br />VARIANCE WILL BE GRANTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. <br />Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Fahey, LaValle, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Page 5 <br />
