Therefore, prior to the launch of the
inclusion survey, at the request of the Community
Inclusion Team, staff did engagement with the
community. At the Annual Ice Cream Social held in
August, prior to the Canadian Days Festival, staff asked
attendees to share what being included looks like.

The survey was published on September 25, 2024, and
was open through November 3, 2024. The survey was
available online in multiple languages including
English, Arabic, Spanish, Korean, Somali, Vietnamese, and Hmong. The survey was also available
and promoted in paper form in English, Spanish, and Hmong at City Hall. An outline of responses is
enumerated below.

For long-form response questions, data themes were analyzed and are available in the Data
Themes section of this report. Long-form questions for the inclusion survey include:
• What does inclusion mean to you?
• What are the topics around inclusion that matter to you?
• What would tell you a community is inclusive?
• What do you think would make Little Canada a stronger, more inclusive community?
• What activities could the Little Canada community offer to encourage a more welcoming
environment for all cultures?
• Any additional comments?
