13 <br /> <br /> <br />• One voice does not represent all <br />The Community Inclusion Team worked to conduct individual interviews with business <br />owners, faith leaders, nonprofit organizations, and residents to better understand <br />historically underrepresented populations. The Community Inclusion Team acknowledges <br />that one voice does not represent all lived experiences. <br />2025 Strategic Planning <br />This report will be presented to the City Council for 2025 Strategic Planning consideration. The City <br />Council and city leadership staff will be participating in a two -day session in Quarter 1 2025 to <br />consider the data and information collected in this report as part of next steps. <br /> <br />Closing Statement <br />Together, we can create a city that welcomes and includes all community members. <br />To be successful, welcoming and inclusion work must be collaborative and community-wide. In <br />closing, the information and data collected in this report should be used as a start to future <br />inclusion, welcoming, and engagement efforts to better serve and understand the needs of the <br />community. <br />Little Canada Community Inclusion Team Members <br />Allison Posner <br />Allison has lived in Little Canada for eight years and believes inclusive communities are strong, <br />stable, and healthy. Currently, Allison is a Director of Public Relations for Goff Public, but she <br />previously worked in communications at Ramsey County. During her time there, she served on the <br />Ramsey County Racial Equity & Community Engagement Action Team. <br /> <br />Amber Hague <br />Amber has lived in Little Canada for four years and has two daughters at Little Canada Elementary <br />and Roseville Area High School. She is passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion. She has <br />dedicated volunteer hours through her employer, serving on an African American Belonging <br />Community and planning events for the various teams she is on. She volunteers monthly at the <br />Montreal Courts YMCA/Good in the Hood food pantry program. <br /> <br />Barb Larsen <br />Barb Larsen organized and connected with the city about the most recent Juneteenth celebration. <br />Barb is a resident of Montreal Courts. She is passionate about engaging the community, especially <br />youth. <br /> <br />Karen Ryan <br />Karen has lived in Little Canada for 34 years. As a medical professional (M.D., M.S.) Karen is <br />passionate about intergenerational community connections, multicultural resources, and fostering <br />community trust, cooperation, and safety. Additionally, she is dedicated to promoting Little Canada <br />residents’ physical, emotional, and cognitive health, well-being, and growth throughout their <br />lifespans. She proudly organizes the Little Canada Senior Exercise Group. <br />
