MINUTES CITY COUNCIL October 25, 1989 Fahey suggested that if need be, the City correct the situation and assess the cost against the property owner. Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89-10-523 - AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER, BUILDING INSPECTOR, CITY PLANNER AND CITY ENGINEER TO REVIEW THE ROUND LAKE TRAIL RETAINING WALL MATTER AND MAKE A RECOMMENDATION TO THE CITY COUNCIL IN 30 DAYS FOR CORRECTIVE ACTION NECESSARY AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING CITY STAFF TO COMMENCE ANY CORRECTIVE ACTIONS WHICH ARE NECESSARY PRIOR TO REPORTING TO THE COUNCIL The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Blesener, LaValle, Collova. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. NO PARKING Don Pantzar requested no parking signs be installed on oN SYLVAN Sylvan Street in the area of the mailboxes. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89-10-524 - AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT TO REVIEW THE DON PANTZAR REQUEST FOR NO PARKING SIGNS ON SYLVAN AND SUBMIT A RECOMMENDATION TO THE CITY COUNCIL The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. Ayes (5) Blesener, Fahey, Scalze, Collova. LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. ECONOMIC Fahey reported that a meeting of the Economic DEVELOPMENT Development Committee was held this morning at which COMMITTEE developer Loren Bruggemann submitted to the Committee a development proposal for the Country Drive area. Fahey explained this proposal in detail to the Council, reporting that the developer is seeking concept approval at this time, and will then proceed to go through the necessary application process for a lot Page 25
