MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />October 25, 1989 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. <br />Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Fahey, Blesener, Collova, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />PIONEER PARK Scalze reported that the seed in Pioneer Park is <br />dormant at this time and, hopefully, will remain so <br />until next Spring. The seed was never watered due to <br />electrical problems with the well that was installed in <br />the park. <br />Scalze reported that the trail connecting Spooner Park <br />with Pioneer Park is under construction and will be <br />completed shortly. <br />VOUCHERS Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 89-10-538 - APPROVING THE VOUCHERS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. <br />Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Fahey, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />TEMPORARY Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />EMPLOYEE moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89-10-539 - AUTHORIZING THE DEPUTY CLERK <br />AND ADMINISTRATIVE LIAISON TO HIRE TEMPORARY HELP FOR <br />THE NEXT FEW MONTHS TO REPLACE OFFICE STAFF ON LEAVE OF <br />ABSENCE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. <br />Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, Collova, LaValle, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution deolared adopted. <br />THUNDER BAY The City Planner reported that there are no stakes in <br />DITCH the area of the Thunder Bay ditch. The Planner <br />suggested that these stakes be replaced since there is <br />filling occuring in that area. <br />Page 34 <br />
